Composting worms
Ideal composting worms which eat their own weight in organic waste every week. In a well managed heap they will breed and improve the composting process. Worms which compost waste create worm castings which improve the moisture retention of composts and have been reported to improve plant growth hormones as well, in short a biological care package. Due to their surface dwelling nature they do not leave large castings on the surface as the earthworm does which makes them suitable for lawns and shrub areas. Please take a look at our page titled "Looking after your worms" which provides the fundamentals to vermicomposting. All prices include free postage and packing.
